My artistic focus revolves around expanding what a drawing can be. I achieve this by making marks directly into wet oil paint with a graphite pencil on linen or paper, a technique I've developed to merge painting and drawing, I hybridize two different mediums.

The hybridization of drawing and painting enables me to capture the different qualities of both mediums, combining graphite’s controlled precision with the fluidity of oil paint challenges the norms of both mediums. The synthesis of graphite and oil paint becomes a vessel for innovation, allowing me to present a visual that transcends the conventional boundaries of drawing and painting.
